Software Development, Support and Maintenance

With the relationship with the original supplier irretrievably broken, Reeson Care needed to find a new supplier who could quickly take over and gain a good understanding of what was a complex piece of software. Not only did we rescue them from their immediate predicament but we were able to resolve numerous bugs that had been left in the system and bring it up to date with the latest versions of the underlying frameworks. This involved a massive upgrade from Angular v10 to v17 and from .Net Core v3 to v8. We also introduced a much improved business analysis process, relieving the client from a lot of the burden of having to prepare system documentation themselves.

Having completed the upgrade and bug fixes the next step was to migrate the application from a dedicated server to a cloud hosting service. This included a complete rebuild of the CI/CD pipelines to ensure that new features and updates could be released quickly and seamlessly, with minimal, if any, downtime.

Going forward we will be providing ongoing maintenance and support services whilst working on the design and development of a new Reeson Care website.

Digitals for Health has gone from simply being a supplier of software development services to a key partner to Reeson Care. So much so, that we are currently in the process of setting up a new joint venture to market the Reeson Care system to other care homes.
