Mission
To build the software healthcare organisations depend on — properly, and faster than firms five times our size. Patient portals, clinician tools, integrations, modernised systems. We have spent years inside NHS environments and we know what "works" actually means.
Vision
A UK healthcare ecosystem — public, private and provider-led — where the software actually works, integrates and gets adopted, because it was built by people who understood both the code and the clinical context.
Our Story
We build NHS-integrated software with AI in the delivery loop. The work requires people who understand both the code and the clinical context.
Digitals for Health was founded by healthcare IT professionals who had watched too many healthcare projects start with a strategy deck and end with software that did not ship — or shipped late, broken or impossible to integrate.
We started Digitals to be the opposite: a build-first team that knows healthcare standards, integration patterns and clinical safety from the inside. We design and build the systems ourselves, with our own engineers, supported by reusable integration patterns we have developed across years of NHS, private healthcare and care provider work. Our R&D has been twice-funded by Innovate UK — research that feeds directly back into the production work we deliver for clients.
In 2024–2025 we rebuilt our delivery process around AI tooling — Claude, Copilot, Cursor and our own accelerators — which is why a senior team like ours now ships at the pace larger consultancies charge double for.
